Is your -Ism part of a larger movement, starting your own movement, or just your own beliefs? Why?
My -Ism is probably a thing that a lot of people agree with but also something that a lot of people would not agree with. I guess it is kind of a blend of all three; part of a larger movement, starting my own movement and also my own beliefs.

What makes for a good belief statement?
To have a good belief statement it needs to be long enough to explain every detail of your belief but it needs to be understandable and precise also. It should be what you want it to be.

What can 10 words do that 10,000 cannot?
Ten words can give you breathing room if you are reading something persuasive. You don’t always want to cram every single margin full of words. You want to give the reader breathing room so they don’t feel pressured or weird.

Is competing at a spelling bee different than competing in a sport?
I would say it is definitely different because there is no physical skill needed and you can just study your way to victory.

How will you find your happy place within a CSAP prompt?
I will jut watch Happy Gilmore the night before and remember how he found his “Happy Place” and do that to find my happy place. Or think of playing Baseball because that is one of the places that I am very happy.

We think that there is new technology every day and it is becoming expensive just to be “in”. And kids are just trying to keep up with the trends and it is costing more and more money to be able to keep up and be cool. I like change sometimes like when there is cool new technology coming out every day. But I also think that we would be best off just how God made us. The stuff that is made to make our lives easier is actually just making our lives harder and more complicated. It is also controlling our life. Every day people use technology, and most people couldn’t go a week without it. (accept for Amish people)

Technology. In Ancient China they had actually developed a steam power but didn’t use it for anything. Imagine if they had connected it to machines and invented the first steam engine, almost at least 1,000 years before it was re-invented and finally put to use. Who knows where we would be. We may even have the technology to have flying cars. But just like in Henry David Thoreau’s quote. We won’t have a need for flying cars until we are ready for them. Some people cant even safely drive a car in a three dimensional world. Imagine adding the up and down dimensions into all of that! It would be psychotic. Well. Who knows, maybe we aren’t ready for the advanced technology that we could have. Maybe that’s why God planned it that way.

Here are the lyrics to this song [(download it)(the capitalized title is a link)]:
Back In The Game
BACK IN THE GAME
(BOTTENFIELD/ OMARTIAN)
GREEN GREEN GRASS AND BLUE BLUE SKIES
A CHILDS GAME SEEN BY A MILLION EYES
A BOYHOOD DREAM THAT CAME TO LIFE
WASN’T THIS MEANT FOR SOME OTHER GUY
A SEASON COMES AND THEN A SEASON GOES
YOU’RE LIVING HIGH THEN YOU’RE LIVING LOW
THERE WAS NO EASY COME NO EASY GO
AND SO BEGAN THE CHANGE
CHORUS
NOW I’M BACK IN THE GAME
OH IT TOOK A LITTLE WHILE FOR ME TO FIND MY WAY
NO THIS AIN’T FOR THE FAME
I’M LEAVING THAT OLD SELF BEHIND
AND I’M BACK IN THE GAME
CHEERING FANS AND AN ALL-STAR GAME
I HOLD THEM DEAR BUT IT’S FLEETING FAME
WELL PLANNED SCHEMES AND WELL PITCHED GAMES
WERE LEADING SOME TO KNOW MY NAME
THE SEASONS COMES AND THEN THE SEASONS GO
YOU’RE LIVING HIGH THEN YOU’RE LIVING LOW
THERE WAS NO EASY COME NO EASY GO
AND SO BEGAN THE CHANGE

What makes a person’s writing unique?
I think that there could be a little thing they often say. Or if they use big words to try and confuse people. I also think that something that may make it unique is if they make things seem straight forward but there is really a deeper meaning. It makes it unique when they make it so you either want to, or need to read it over again to either get a deeper meaning, or just for enjoyment.
